Miniaturized, oil-free turbo compressors with gas bearings for heating and cooling applications
Oil-free, miniaturized turbo compressors with gas bearings have not been employed in industrial heating and cooling applications due to the challenges in design, manufacturing and operation. In this paper, the technical challenges due to miniaturization are described and potential solutions are elaborated.
