New product launch: Gas booster with gas bearings for demanding industrial and energy applications

The first compressor worldwide operating with gas bearings at inlet pressures above 150 bara.

Developed to meet the demanding requirements of inert gas recirculation applications in various industries, the CT-6000-Ar stands out with its unmatched inlet pressure capability, compact design, and oil-free operation.

  • High mass flow and energy efficiency: Maximum mass flow of 1,100 g/s at an energy consumption of only 4.6 kW.
  • Contamination and maintenance-free operation: Utilizing gas-lubricated, non-contact rotors, this compressor ensures absolutely oil-free, wear-free gas compression – with no need for oil lubrication or oil filter maintenance.
  • Direct drive operation: Eliminating the need for magnetic couplings or additional mechanical seals
  • Reliability and robustness: Self-stabilizing gas bearings ensure consistent performance designed to last for hundreds of thousands of start/stop cycles.
  • Leak-tight design: Proven helium-tight casing at over 200 bara.
  • Vibration-free operation: The gas bearing turbomachinery allows for vibration- and pulsation-free compression of the gas.
